Scope
GB/T 29553-2013 is the English-translated version of 风力发电复合材料整流罩.
GB/T 29553-2013 covers the composite spinner cover fitted over the hub of a wind turbine, which the draft calls the fairing.
Clause 1 states that the standard specifies the terms and definitions, the classification, structure and marking, the general requirements and the requirements, the test methods, the inspection rules, the marks, and transportation, storage, installation, maintenance and repair, and that it applies to composite shells made by vacuum infusion and by hand lay-up moulding to protect the wind turbine hub.
Clause 3 defines the fairing as a composite part made by those processes and assembled with other accessories into a given structure in order to cover and protect the hub.
Clause 4 classifies fairings by the rating of the wind power host, listing 0.75 MW, 0.85 MW, 1.0 MW, 1.25 MW, 1.5 MW, 2.0 MW, 2.5 MW, 3.0 MW, 3.6 MW, 5.0 MW and 8.0 MW among others, and goes on to structure and marking.
Clause 2 cites thirteen documents, among them GB/T 1447, GB/T 1449 and GB/T 1451 on the tensile, flexural and impact testing of fibre reinforced plastics, GB/T 2576 and GB/T 2577 on resin content, GB/T 3854 on Barcol hardness, GB/T 8237 on liquid unsaturated polyester resin for fibre reinforced plastics, GB/T 17470 and GB/T 18370 on glass fibre mats and rovings, GB/T 13912 on hot-dip galvanized coatings on steel parts, GB/T 18684 on zinc chromate coatings, GB/T 1591 on high strength low alloy structural steel and GB/T 1804-2000 on general tolerances.
The draft breaks off early in clause 4, so the requirement values, the test methods and the installation and maintenance provisions are not shown. It was proposed by the China Building Materials Federation and is administered by the national fibre reinforced plastic standardization technical committee (SAC/TC39). It was issued on 19 July 2013 and has applied since 1 March 2014.
