This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part 1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents"

This document is Part 1 of GB/T 29168 "Induction Heating Elbows, Fittings and Flanges for Pipeline Transportation Systems in the Petroleum and Natural Gas Industry"

This document replaces GB/T 29168.1-2012 "Induction heating bends, fittings and flanges for pipeline transportation systems in the oil and gas industry

Part 1.Induction Heating Elbow. Compared with GB/T 29168.1-2012, this document has major technical changes except for editorial changes

as follows.

---The scope of application of the document has been revised, and the content has been supplemented and improved (see Chapter 1);

--- The consistency requirement has been deleted (see Chapter 2 of the.2012 edition);

--- Deleted part of the content of negotiating and repairing the defects of the base metal (see Chapter 10 of the.2012 edition);

---Added the requirements of GB 50251 and GB 50253 related documents, and added the requirements of unequal strength design clauses (see Chapter 6);

---The mechanical performance index of the material of the elbow mother tube has increased the index requirements for the acceptance of the induction heating elbow heat simmering simulation test sample

Requires clear requirements for the ultimate water pressure bearing capacity of the elbow pipe (see Chapter 8);

---Modified the outer diameter of the LSAW pipe in the tube type selection of the elbow pipe (see Chapter 9);

---Modified the specific techniques for sampling locations and machining methods of mechanical properties such as tensile test, Charpy impact toughness test, hardness, etc.
