1 Scope

This standard specifies the generation ECS database requirements and test methods, and database content related to navigation safety, quality and update

This standard provides guidance to build and test the ECS database. But it neither provides detailed methods and techniques for the design and development of databases,

It does not involve a detailed quality control procedures.

The main users of this standard is the manufacturer ECS database. This standard is also available for ECS manufacturers and government regulatory agencies by reference.

3 Terms and Definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
