1 Scope

This standard specifies the lateral stability test methods for passenger trains.

This standard applies to passenger cars as defined in ISO 3833, light truck and the trailer train composition.

Lateral stability test can determine the towing vehicle - trailer yaw oscillation damping characteristics determined by a steering pulse train caused.
