Foreword

This revised standard adopts ISO 2114:2000 "Plastics (polyester resin), paints and varnishes (adhesives) --- partial acid value and total acid value Determination "(in English).

Taking into account China's national conditions, the use of this standard in the ISO 2114:2000 doing some modifications. About the technical differences have been incorporated into the body and they are involved in the provision of margin identified by a single vertical line. Given these technical differences and their causes in Appendix C the list for reference.

For ease of use, this standard made the following editorial changes.

a) the name changed to "plastic polyester resin partial acid value and total acid value";

b) Delete the ISO 2114:2000 "Directory" and "Introduction";

c) Chapter 2, "Normative references" in where there is a corresponding ISO standard national standards, replaced by the national standards;

d) instead of as a decimal by decimal comma ",". ",";

e) Remove the ISO 2114:2000 standard Chapter 9 precision in part, an increase in Appendix B.

This standard replaces GB/T 2895-1982 "unsaturated polyester resin acid value." the difference between standard 2895-1982 and GB/T as follows.

--- Increase the term and definition, a clear definition of partial acid value and total acid value;

--- Increased Method B. total acid test principle and test methods of operation;

--- Increased by potentiometric titration;

1 Scope

Partial acid (Method A) This standard applies to the polyester resin and the total acid number (Method B) was measured.

This standard does not apply to phenolic resin.

3 Terms and Definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this standard.
