Foreword
This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents".
Drafting.
This document is Part 2 of GB/T 28267 "Steel Wire Cord Conveyor Belts". GB/T 28267 has the following parts published.
---Part 1: Design, Dimensions and Mechanical Requirements for General Purpose Conveyor Belts;
---Part 2: Preferred Belt Type;
---Part 3: Special Safety Requirements for Conveyor Belts Used Downhole;
---Part 4: Vulcanized joints with belts.
This document replaces GB/T 28267.2-2015 "Steel Wire Cord Conveyor Belts - Part 2: Preferred Belt Types", and is consistent with GB/T 28267.2-Compared to 2015, aside from structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.
---Added terms and definitions (see Chapter 3);
---The general principles have been amended (see Chapter 5, Chapter 2 of the 2015 edition);
---The requirements for type A1 tape have been changed (see Table 2, 2015 version of Table 2);
---The requirements for C1 type belts have been changed (see Table 6, Table 6 in the 2015 edition);
---The requirements for C2 type belts have been changed (see Table 7, Table 7 in the 2015 edition).
This document is modified to adopt ISO 15236-2:2017 "Wire cord conveyor belts - Part 2: Preferred belt types".
The technical differences between this document and ISO 15236-2:2017, and the reasons therefor, are as follows.
---The scope of application has been expanded to comply with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 (see Chapter 1);
---ISO 15236-1 (see Chapters 1, 5, and 7) has been replaced by the normatively referenced GB/T 28267.1-2021 to adapt to...
To enhance operability based on my country's technological capabilities;
---The terms and definitions from GB/T 5756 have been added (see Chapter 3) to adapt to my country's technical conditions and increase operability;
---ISO 15236-4 (see Chapter 5) has been replaced with the normatively referenced GB/T 28267.4 to adapt to my country's technical conditions, and has been improved.
Increase operability;
---The requirements for edge adhesive have been revised (see Chapter 5) to suit my country's technical conditions;
---A1 type belt model has been added (see Table 2) to adapt to my country's technical conditions.

Introduction
Steel cord conveyor belts are generally quite long, therefore it is necessary to connect the several sections of conveyor belt provided by the manufacturer at the application site.
To ensure that the joints between conveyor belts provided by manufacturers have high dynamic performance, it is necessary to standardize certain characteristics, such as...
Such as the thickness of the core layer, the spacing between the wire ropes, and the diameter of the wire ropes.
Based on the specific circumstances of the domestic steel cord conveyor belt industry, steel cord conveyor belts include structural design, belt type, underground safety requirements, and the vulcanized joint consists of four parts, which are related yet independent. GB/T 28267 is proposed to be composed of four parts.
---Part 1: Design, Dimensions, and Mechanical Requirements for General Purpose Conveyor Belts. The purpose is to provide information to stakeholders of steel cord conveyor belts.
Provide standardized structure and performance specifications to improve the interchangeability of steel cord conveyor belts and facilitate maintenance and replacement.
---Part 2: Optimal Belt Type. The aim is to facilitate mass production of steel cord conveyor belts and standardize downstream conveyor equipment.
Standardization.
---Part 3: Special Safety Requirements for Conveyor Belts Used Downhole. The purpose is to standardize the use of wire rope core conveyors in special downhole environments.
The safety features of the belt.
---Part 4: Vulcanized Joints of Conveyor Belts. The aim is to provide standardized joint requirements for stakeholders to improve the service life of conveyor belts.
life.
