Introduction

This method is included in the original proposal of the European Commission (EC) working paper on the characteristics of the polymer method. The proposal in 1993 April was submitted to the Committee of Experts on the OECD held in Japan, and is recommended as a basis for the development of OECD test method. The method is based on DIN55672-1:2007. Specific measurement methods and data processing methods in DIN standards are introduced.
