Scope
GB/T 27723-2011 is the English-translated version of 皮鞋跟面扭转强度试验方法.
GB/T 27723-2011 specifies the test method for the torsional strength of the assembled top piece of a women's heel. Clause 1 applies it to top pieces fixed to the heel with a single bolt.
Clause 3, Principle, describes the method: the top piece is held in a dedicated jig and rotated relative to the fixed heel by a torque measuring device, which produces the torque and allows the maximum torque needed to turn the top piece to be determined.
Clause 4, Test Equipment, calls for a torque measuring device with a range of not less than 4.0 N.m and an accuracy class of 1.0, able to display and hold the maximum torque accurately, and for a special fixture that engages the torque measuring device axially so as to transmit the drive along the axis and that holds top pieces of different sizes by means of adjusting screws arranged around it, as shown in Figure 1.

It was issued on 2011-12-30 and has applied since 2012-07-01.
