Scope
GB/T 26928-2011 is the English-translated version of 节水型社区评价导则.
GB/T 26928-2011 is the Chinese guide for judging whether a residential community deserves to be called water saving.
It gives the terms and definitions of the evaluation system and the requirements a community must meet: the state of the network and of the fittings, the metering, the leak rate, the reuse of rainwater and grey water, the management in place and the awareness of the residents.
It applies to the evaluation of water-saving communities created by district offices and neighbourhood committees. Water authorities and the bodies that award the title use it. Issued on 19 July 2011, it has applied since 1 March 2012.

1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions related to water-saving community evaluation system and requirements.

3 Terms and Definitions
GB/T 21534 and defined by the following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 Water-saving community
In accordance with relevant laws, regulations, policies and standards called for the establishment and implementation of the water management system, the comprehensive evaluation of its management and technical means Meet the standard requirements of this standard residential community.
3.2 Public Water
Community greening, landscape, clean, fire, swimming pools and other water.
4 Evaluation system and requirements
4.1 General
4.1.1 Water-saving evaluation system communities, including basic requirements, management indicators and requirements, technical specifications and requirements, encouraging indicators.
4.1.2 Evaluation of water-saving community

4.1.3 Water-saving community assessment procedures in Appendix B
4.2 Basic requirements
4.2.1 The community should strictly implement relevant state water permit system, the exploitation of groundwater should be consistent with the relevant provisions of the city.
4.2.2 Community public places water should use water saving devices.
4.2.3 Community should not use obsolete equipment and utensils with water.
4.2.4 Community should water metering and charging.
