GB/T 26790.4-2020 is the English-translated version of 工业无线网络WIA规范 第4部分：WIA-FA协议一致性测试规范.
GB/T 26790.4-2020 is the part of the Chinese WIA industrial wireless network specification that sets the WIA-FA protocol conformance test specification. It gives the structure of the WIA-FA conformance test system and the test sets for field devices, access devices and gateway devices.
It applies to protocol conformance testing of wireless network equipment based on GB/T 26790.2-2015. Industrial device makers, network equipment vendors and test laboratories use it. Issued on 21 July 2020, it has applied since 1 February 2021.

1 Scope
This part of GB/T 26790 gives the WIA-FA conformance test system structure, field device test set, access device test set and Gateway equipment test set.
This section applies to the protocol conformance test of wireless network equipment based on GB/T 26790.2-2015.

3 Terms and definitions
The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 26790.2-2015 apply to this document. For ease of use, the following is repeated Some terms and definitions in GB/T 26790.2-2015.
3.1 Access device
Installed in an industrial site, responsible for forwarding sensor data, alarms and network management related information on the field device to the gateway device, or Forward the control signal, management information and configuration information of the gateway device to the field device. [GB/T 26790.2-2015, definition 3.1.2]
3.2 Beacon
Frames broadcast by the access device in the WIA-FA network.
Note: A new field device must first monitor the beacon before joining the WIA-FA network. [GB/T 26790.2-2015, definition 3.1.7]
3.3 Field device
WIA-FA equipment installed in the industrial field, connected to sensors and actuators, responsible for sending field data and receiving control commands. [GB/T 26790.2-2015, definition 3.1.12]
3.4 Gateway device
Connect WIA-FA network and other network equipment. [GB/T 26790.2-2015, definition 3.1.13]
