Scope
GB/T 26464-2011 is the English-translated version of 造纸无机颜料亮度(白度)的测定.
GB/T 26464-2011 gives the method for determining the brightness, also written whiteness, of inorganic pigments for papermaking. Clause 1 states that the standard specifies the measurement method of the brightness (whiteness) of paper inorganic pigments and that it applies to the various white inorganic pigments used in the paper industry.
Clause 3 defines brightness (whiteness) by reference to the diffuse blue reflectance factor of GB/T 7973, measured on the sample with blue light of dominant wavelength (457 plus or minus 0.5) nm.
Clause 4, "Principle", has the sample dried, ground, broken and screened in a series of pre-treatments, then pressed from the powder into a round tablet of a certain size, the brightness measured on the tablet being taken as the brightness (whiteness) of the sample.
Clause 5, "Instruments", lists a reflection photometer whose spectral and geometric characteristics comply with GB/T 7973, an R457 filter of dominant wavelength (457 plus or minus 0.5) nm and 44 nm spectral half-bandwidth matched to the light source, lens, integrating sphere wall and receiver of the instrument, a standard black cartridge of reflection factor not more than 0.2%, a working white standard of glass or ceramic without optical brighteners, a dry break device with a motor speed of 25000 r/min, a tip line speed of 70 m/s and a cup volume of 145 mL, a powder pressure injector shown in Figure A.1, a vacuum filtration device with a 1500 mL suction flask, a 150 mm Buchner funnel, filter paper and a vacuum pump, glass evaporating dishes of 200 mm to 250 mm diameter, an oven holding (105 plus or minus 5) degrees Celsius and a 200 mesh stainless steel mesh.
Clause 6 covers the taking of samples and requires enough test sample to be weighed and the sample taken to be representative, and, where the sample is a dispersed suspension or slurry, the solid content to be determined first and an amount of suspension equivalent to 100 g of bone dry pigment to be taken; the draft breaks off inside that clause.
Clause 2 cites GB/T 7973.
The foreword states that Appendix A is a normative appendix, that the standard was proposed by the China National Light Industry Council, that it is centrally managed by the National Paper Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC141), and that it was drafted by China Pulp and Paper Research Institute and the Professional Committee of Standardization of the China Paper Association. It was issued on 2011-05-12 and has applied since 2011-09-15.

Foreword
Appendix A of this standard is a normative appendix. The standard proposed by China National Light Industry Council.
The standard paper by the National Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC141) centralized.
1 Scope
This standard specifies the paper inorganic pigment brightness (whiteness) measurement method.
This standard applies to the paper industry using a variety of white inorganic pigment.
2 Normative references
The following documents contain provisions which, through reference in this standard and become the standard terms. For dated references, subsequent Amendments (not including errata content) or revisions do not apply to this standard, however, encourage the parties to the agreement are based on research Whether the latest versions of these documents. For undated reference documents, the latest versions apply to this standard.
GB/T 7973 paper, board and pulp - Determination of diffuse reflectance factor (diffusion/vertical method)
3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this standard.
3.1 Luminance (brightness) brightness
Internal reflection known as diffuse blue reflectance factor in GB/T 7973 and any conditions, samples of dominant wavelength (457 ± 0.5) nm blue light Factor.
4 Principle
After the sample was dried, ground, broken and screened to a series of pre-treatment, with a powder made from circular Sample Press tableting certain size, measured Brightness tableting (whiteness) value, the luminance (brightness) value is the brightness of the sample (whiteness).
5 Instruments
5.1 reflection photometer. spectral and geometric characteristics of the instrument, etc. shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 7973's.
5.2 R457 filter. the spectral characteristics of a light source, a lens, integrating sphere wall and receiver to match the instrument, given the dominant wavelength (457 ± 0.5) nm, a half-wave spectral characteristics of 44nm wide.
5.3 standard black cartridge. reflection factor should be no more than 0.2%, the dust should be placed face down or opening with the dust cover.
5.4 Working standard white. white standard plate glass or ceramic, without optical brighteners.
5.5 dry break device. motor speed 25000r/min, the tip line speed 70m/s, capacity cup volume 145mL.
5.6 Powder injector pressure. from the sample boxes, compacts, glass, gland, pressure injector nut, handle and bottom composition, see Figure A.1.
5.7 vacuum filtration device. the 1500mL suction flask, Buchner funnel having a diameter of 150mm, resolution Whatman5 filter paper (or rather performance Other filter paper) and vacuum pump.
5.8 evaporating dish. made of glass, having a diameter of 200mm ~ 250mm.
5.9 Oven. maintain a constant temperature at (105 ± 5) °C.
5.10 stainless steel mesh. mesh 200 mesh.
6 Samples taken
6.1 required to weigh sufficient test sample with alleged sample taken should be representative.
6.2 If the sample to disperse the suspension (slurry) form, the first determination of solid content, and moved to take the equivalent of 100g bone dry pigment suspension
