Scope

GB/T 26433-2010 is the English-translated version of 粮油加工环境要求.

GB/T 26433-2010 fixes the minimum environmental requirements for the processing of grain and oilseed for food and for fuel purposes, covering the siting environment, the plant environment, the workplace environment and the requirements for environmental management.

Clause 1 states that the standard applies to grain and oil processing plants of every kind. Clause 3 defines process water as the water used for cleaning and conditioning in grain and oil processing together with the water mixed directly into products and into production.

Clause 4 deals with the siting environment and opens with general principles under which the site must comply with national infrastructure policy, carry out national technology policy and fit the overall urban construction plan, while giving attention to environmental protection, economical use of land and keeping occupation of farmland to a minimum.

The standard quotes, among others, the ambient air quality standard GB 3095, the acoustic environmental quality standard GB 3096-2008, the drinking water hygiene standard GB 5749, the hygienic standards GB 8955 for edible oil plants and GB 13122 for flour mills, the general hygienic practice GB 14881 for food enterprises, the wastewater discharge standard GB 8978, the air pollutant emission standard GB 16297, the boiler emission standard GB 13271, the plant boundary industrial noise standard GB 12348, the dust explosion safety rules GB 17440 and the fire protection design code GB 50016.

The standard was proposed by the national food authority, is administered by the national grain and oils standardization technical committee, and was drafted by the academy of the State Grain Bureau with the Beijing Municipal Grain Bureau. It was issued on 14 January 2011 and has applied since 1 June 2011.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the edible food and fuel for the purpose of processing the minimum environmental requirements, including site environment, the plant environment, workplace The environment and environmental management requirements.

This standard applies to all types of grain and oil processing plants.
