Scope

GB/T 26232-2025 is the English-translated version of 信息技术 中间件 应用服务器中间件技术要求.

GB/T 26232-2025 is the Chinese national standard covering the application server that carries enterprise workloads — the reference model and the basic services from database connections and persistence to messaging, transactions, concurrency and security, the web and EJB containers, the operation and maintenance side of clustering, deployment, monitoring and log management, the access control and transmission security, and the portability that now has to include container and microservice deployment, not only a plain install. It replaces GB/T 26232-2010, which was framed around J2EE rather than around the middleware as a product. In force from 1 November 2025. Issued on 25 April 2025, it has been in force since 1 November 2025, replacing GB/T 26232-2010.

This document replaces GB/T 26232-2010 "Technical Specification for Application Server Based on J2EE" and is consistent with GB/T 26232-2010.

In addition to structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.

a) Changed the application server middleware technology reference model (see Chapter 5, 4.1 and 4.2 of the 2010 edition);

b) The basic services have been changed (see Chapter 6, 5.4 of the 2010 edition);

c) The container has been changed (see Chapter 7, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3 of the 2010 edition);

d) The application support has been changed (see Chapter 8, 5.5.1, 5.5.2, 5.5.3 and 5.5.4 of the 2010 edition);

e) Cluster management has been changed (see 9.3, 5.5.6 of the 2010 edition);

f) Changed log management (see 9.6, 5.5.5 of the 2010 edition);

g) Added operation and maintenance management services, including configuration management, single instance management, application deployment management and monitoring diagnosis (see Chapter 9);

h) Added safety requirements (see Chapter 10);

i) Performance metrics have been added (see Chapter 11);

j) increased fault tolerance (see 12.2);

k) Improved maintainability (see Chapter 13);

l) Changed portability (see Chapter 14, Chapter 8 of the 2010 edition);

m) Deleted the operating environment requirements (Chapter 9 of the 2010 edition);

n) Improved ease of use (see Chapter 15).
