combination after each time of steering system operation

4 General requirements for device to prevent unauthorized use of M1 and N1 vehicles

4.1 The device to prevent unauthorized use shall be designed to meet that

only when it does not work in order to complete the following operations.

4.1.1 Start the engine with normal operation.

4.2 Use the same key in accordance with the requirements of 4.1.

4.3 Insert the key into the lock to activate the working system. Under the state

described in 4.1 that it has been started or it has been in the starting position,

the key cannot be pulled out, except the case described in 5.1.5.

4.6 The key to the mechanical locking system shall include not less than 1000

different combinations. If less than 1,000 vehicles were built in a year, the

number of combinations shall be equal to the number of vehicles. In all vehicles

of one vehicle type, the occurrence of the same combination shall not exceed

1/1000.

4.7 Electric / electronic locking system (such as remote-control lock) shall

have at least 50,000 kinds of changes and be incorporated into the rolling code,

and/or scanning 5,000 changes shall at least require 24h.

4.8 For characteristics of device to prevent unauthorized use, 4.6 or 4.7 shall

apply.

4.9 There shall not be visible codes on lock and key.

4.11.2 If the device to prevent unauthorized use is locked by the pulled-out

key, before the device to prevent unauthorized use is locked, the key shall at

least have 2 mm of movement amount or add the manual control function to

prevent the key accidentally pulled out partially pulled out.

4.11.3 4.10, 4.10.1 or 4.10.2, 4.11.2 are only applicable to the device to

prevent unauthorized use that uses mechanical key.

4.12 Auxiliary power can only be used for locking and unlocking of the device

to prevent unauthorized use. The device to prevent unauthorized use shall be

able to remain in the locked position without the need for auxiliary power.

4.13 Before unlocking the device to prevent unauthorized use, the drive

system of the vehicle cannot be started in the normal way.

4.15 For the device to prevent unauthorized use equipped with driver warning

system, when the side door of driver is open, if the device to prevent

unauthorized use does not work or the key is not pulled out, the warning system

shall be triggered immediately.

5 Special requirements for device to prevent unauthorized use of M1 and N1 vehicles

5.1 Device to prevent unauthorized use acting on steering

5.1.1 The device to prevent unauthorized use acting on steering shall be able

to disable the steering. Before the engine starts, the normal steering function

shall be recovered.

5.1.6 If the component fails when a torque specified in 5.1.4 is applied and

the steering system remains locked, the system shall meet the requirements.

5.2 Device to prevent unauthorized use acting on driving or on braking

5.2.1 The device to prevent unauthorized use acting on driving shall be able

to stop the steering of vehicle drive wheel.

5.2.5 The device to prevent unauthorized use shall be designed and

manufactured so that it shall be still fully effective after it is subjected to 2,500

cycles of locking wear test at each direction. For the device to prevent

unauthorized use acting on braking, the electronic or mechanical sub-parts of

the device shall also meet the requirements. The device to prevent

unauthorized use shall be designed and manufactured so that it shall be still

fully effective after it is subjected to 2,500 cycles of locking wear at each

direction.

5.2.6 If the key of the device to prevent unauthorized use is pulled out of a

position other than the drivetrain lock or brake lock position, it is designed so

that the manual override can reach this position and the key removal shall not

be effected unconsciously.

5.3 Device to prevent unauthorized use acting on shifting

5.3.1 The device to prevent unauthorized use acting on shifting shall not

prevent any change on shift.

5.3.2 For manual transmission, lock the shift lever in the reverse gear position

and also allow the shift lever to be locked in the neutral position.

6 Electromechanical and electronic devices to prevent unauthorized use of M1 and N1 vehicles

If electromechanical or electronic devices to prevent unauthorized use are installed,

they shall comply with the requirements of Clause 4, Clause 5 and Clause 17.

7 General requirements for vehicle alarm system (VAS)

7.1 The VAS shall signal an alarm when the vehicle is intruded or

unauthorized used. Alarm signal shall be audible signal. In addition, it shall also

include visual warning signaling device or wireless warning device, or the

combination of these devices.

7.4 The installation of VAS in the vehicle shall not affect the performance of

the vehicle (in the unset state) or its normal operation.

7.5 The VAS and its components shall not be accidentally triggered,

especially when the engine is running.

7.6 VAS malfunction or power failure shall not affect the operational safety of

the vehicle.

7.7 VAS, its components as well as the controlled parts shall be designed,

manufactured and installed to stop immediate, accident failure by unauthorized

personnel to the maximum extent, or damage by tools that are cheap, easily

hidden, carried and manufactured by public.

7.10 VAS may include immobilizer. The immobilizer shall meet the

requirements of Clause 15, Clause 16, Clause 17.

8 Special requirements for vehicle alarm system (VAS)

8.1 Protection scope

8.1.1 Requirements

VAS shall be able to detect at least any of the doors, bonnet, trunk, and issue

an alarm signal. Failure or shutdown of a light source (such as a passenger

compartment light) shall not affect the control operation. To prevent

unnecessary alarm sounds (false alarm, see 8.1.2), additional information

sensor or display may be used, for example.

8.1.2 Safety measures to prevent false alarms
8.1.2.1 Through appropriate measures, for example.

8.2 Audible alarm signal

8.2.1 General requirements

The alarm signal shall be legible and distinct from the acoustic signals used in

other road traffic. In addition to the original audible alarm, a separate audible

alarm can be installed in the VAS-controlled area of the vehicle to prevent

personnel from entering the vehicle easily and quickly. If the destruction of a

standard audible alarm (which is usually easier to access) does not affect the

operation of an additional audible alarm, the original standard audible alarm

may be additionally activated by the VAS when using the separate audible

alarm required by 8.2.3.1.

8.3 Visual alarm signal (optional)

8.3.1 General requirements

If the vehicle is intruded or unauthorized used, the device shall issue visual

signals as specified in 8.3.2 and 8.3.3.

8.3.2 Duration of visual signal

After the alarm is activated, the visual alarm signal shall last for 25s ~ 300s.

Unset the system alert shall immediately cut off the signal.

8.11 Optional function requirements

When the VAS is in the set state of warning, the self-test system (fuzzy control)

shall recognize and make an indication of abnormal conditions (for example,

opening of doors, etc.).

9 Vehicle alarm system (VAS) operating parameters and test conditions

(visual alarm device lighting and vehicle lighting systems standard lamps do not

have to comply with the operating parameters specified in 9.1; it shall not carry

out the test specified in 9.2)

min.

9.2 Test conditions

9.2.1 Test running
9.2.2.4 VAS, in setting and unset state, shall withstand (18±0.2)V over-voltage

for 1h.

9.2.2.5 VAS, in setting and unset state, shall withstand (24±0.2)V over-voltage

for 1 min, respectively.

9.2.3 Safety test after foreign body and water tightness test

After the foreign body and water tightness test specified in GB 4208, carry out

the running test specified in 9.2.1 which shall comply with the protection level

specified in 9.1.2.

9.2.4 Safety test after water condensation test

After the moisture resistance test specified in GB/T 2423.4-1993, carry out the

test specified in 9.2.1.

9.2.8 Safety test after vibration test
9.2.8.1 In this test, divided into the following two types.
