Scope
GB/T 25875-2010 is the English-translated version of 草原蝗虫宜生区划分与监测技术导则.
GB/T 25875-2010 is a guideline for dividing and monitoring the inhabitable area of locust and grasshopper in grassland.
Clause 1 states that it specifies the working programme for that zoning, the content and basic technical requirements of monitoring the area, and the principles and indicators by which the types of inhabitable area are divided, and that it applies to the zoning of that area and to its monitoring; no exclusion is given.
Clause 3 defines the grassland locust and grasshopper as insects of Orthoptera Acridoidea and Tetrigoidea occurring and distributed in grassland, the inhabitable area as a region of the same or similar environment suitable for the growth of a given grassland locust, where a population of a certain size can build up and damage may follow, and the inhabitability index (IH) as a quantified value for how far ecological factors affect the growth and development of such a population.

1 Scope

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this standard.
3.1 Grassland locust and grasshopper
Occur in the grasslands, distributed Orthoptera ACRIDOIDEA Tetrigoidea and insects in general.
3.2 Inhabitable area
Suitable for a certain (class) grassland locust growth area. The region should have the same or similar environment, grassland locusts can form A certain number of the population, may form damage.
3.3 Inhabitability index; IH
Represents the quantized value of ecological factors affect the degree of some kind (category) Population growth and the development of grassland locust.
4 Should be raw zoning
4.1 Data Preparation
4.1.1 Ground sampling data
Ground survey data collected for many years, including sampling sample point location, grasshopper species, age and number, altitude, slope Degree, slope, vegetation cover, aboveground biomass, grassland type, soil type, soil moisture, soil temperature, annual mean temperature, annual average precipitation, >=10 °C effective accumulated temperature and other information. 4.1.2 Thematic maps
Refer to Appendix B, collect administrative division, soil type, grassland type, aboveground biomass, digital elevation, temperature, rainfall and soil temperature and humidity And other basic maps. Maps format shall conform to GB/T 17798 requirements.
4.2 Calculation should Seng Index
4.2.1 Quantization ground sampling data
According to the number of grasshopper populations and the number of grasshopper infestation occurred to quantify the degree of quantization values shown in Table 1.
