1 Scope

This standard specifies the method of anti-icing of aircraft ground deicing minimum requirements, it ICAO (ICAO) Aircraft Ground Anti-icing deicing Operation Manual (Doc.9640-AN/940) and related regulations consistent to ensure that transport operations in icing conditions safety of the aircraft.

This standard does not detail the specific model provisions.

The content of this standard, give priority to the manual, program, or method of aircraft manufacturers published.

Manuals, procedures or methods airlines published the contents of this standard complement.

Application of this standard procedures can effectively remove the serious impact of aircraft aerodynamic characteristics and handling characteristics of frost, ice or snow.

This standard does not include the use of mechanical de-icing anti-icing.
