Foreword

This Standard equivalently adopts ISO 8049:1988 Ferronickel Shot – Sampling for

Analysis (English version).

For ease of use, this Standard has made the following editorial changes:

--- Change "This International Standard" into "This Standard";

--- Use the decimal point "." to replace the comma "," that is used as the decimal

point;

--- Delete the Foreword of the international standard;

--- Adopt the national standards for the Normative Reference.

The Annexes A, B and C of this Standard are informative.

This Standard was proposed by China Iron & Steel Association.

This Standard shall be under the jurisdiction of National Technical Committee on Pig-

irons and Ferroalloys of Standardization Administration of China.

Ferronickel Shot – Sampling for Analysis

1 Scope

This Standard specifies the sampling of granular ferronickel samples for composition

analysis.

This Standard is applicable to the sampling of granular ferronickel samples for

composition analysis specified in GB/T 25049.

reference in this Standard. For dated references, the subsequent amendments

(excluding corrigendum) or revisions do not apply to this Standard, however, parties

who reach an agreement based on this Standard are encouraged to study if the latest

3 Form and Packaging of Product

Grain size: 2mm~50mm;

Lot tonnage: >= 5t;

In the case of lots taken form blended stock, the nickel content range k% ~ (k + n) %

of the blended heats shall be chosen as:

15<=k<=59

1<=n<=5

16<=k+n<=601)

1) The case of non-blended lots (case n <= 1) is not dealt with this Standard.
