Scope
GB/T 24947-2010 is the English-translated version of 船用辅锅炉水质要求.
GB/T 24947-2010 sets the water quality requirements for a marine auxiliary boiler in operation, which it shortens to the "boiler".
Clause 1 limits it to boilers whose design pressure is less than 2.5 MPa and whose medium is water and saturated steam, namely fuel boilers, gas boilers and fuel gas combination boilers, and to hot water boilers whose medium outlet temperature does not exceed 120 °C. The body as far as the draft goes runs Scope, Normative references, Terms and Definitions and Requirements, and clause 2 cites GB/T 1576.
Clause 3 defines two kinds of water: the water delivered to the boiler inlet by a feed pump from feed water and condensate, and the concentrated water circulating inside the boiler, generally the water in the drum.
Clause 4 states that feedwater for steam boilers should generally be treated chemically and that the water quality must meet Table 1, which fixes limits for both waters in three rated pressure bands up to 2.5 MPa, covering total hardness, total alkalinity, salinity as Cl-, pH at 25 °C, suspension, DO, dissolved solids, oil content, iron content, sulfite and phosphate.
The draft ends with Table 1. It was proposed by China State Shipbuilding Corporation and administered by the National Marine Machinery Standardization Technical Committee. It was issued on 2010-08-09 and has applied since 2010-12-01.

1 Scope
This standard specifies the marine auxiliary boiler (hereinafter referred to as "boiler") water quality requirements at runtime.
This standard applies to the design pressure is less than 2.5MPa, medium is water and saturated steam boiler fuel, gas boiler, fuel gas group Fit the boiler, as well as medium outlet temperature does not exceed 120 °C hot water boiler.

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this standard.
3.1 Feedwater
By a feed pump from the feed water, condensate boiler inlet supply boilers and the like.
3.2 Boiler water
Circulating boiler, means the concentrated water inside the boiler. Generally refers to the water within the drum.
