3 Terms and Definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

Disintegration

The degree to which a sample is dispersed into fragments in water under specific conditions.

4 Test Methods

4.1 Method 1

4.1.1 Principle

The test sample was placed in a beaker and stirred in water with a rotor that rotates at a constant speed for 30 seconds, 2 minutes, and 10 minutes, respectively.

After stirring for the appropriate time, pour the contents of the beaker onto a test sieve and rinse with a shower head. If there is any residue on the test sieve, collect it.

The residue was collected and its oven-dry mass was measured to evaluate the dispersibility at different stirring times.
