Foreword

This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents" drafted.

This document replaces GB/T 23929-2009 "Three-wheeled vehicles and low-speed truck drive axles", compared with GB/T 23929-2009, except In addition to structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.

--- Changed the requirements for appearance quality and paint coating (see 4.1.3, 3.3 of the 2009 edition);

--- Changed the assembly requirements (see 4.2.1, 4.2.2, 4.2.3, 4.2.4, 3.2 of the 2009 edition);

--- Increased air tightness requirements and no-load running-in requirements (see 4.2.7, 4.2.8);

--- Increased clutch requirements (see 4.2.9, 4.3.6);

--- Increased cleanliness requirements (see 4.3.7);

--- Increased noise requirements (see 4.3.8);

--- Increased transmission efficiency requirements (see 4.3.9);

--- Increased clutch performance test method (see 5.3);

--- Increased the air tightness test method of the drive axle (see 5.4);

--- Increased the drive axle cleanliness test method (see 5.5);

--- Added the test method for drive axle transmission efficiency (see 5.6);

--- Added drive axle noise test method (see 5.7);

--- Changed the factory inspection rules (see 6.1, 5.1 of the 2009 edition);

--- Changed the type test inspection items and unqualified classification (see 6.2.2, 5.2.2 of the 2009 edition);

--- Changed the sampling plan and judgment rules (see 6.2.3, 6.2.4, 6.2.5, 5.2.3, 5.2.4, 5.3 of the 2009 edition);

--- Changed the labeling, packaging and storage requirements (see Chapter 7, Chapter 6 of the 2009 edition).

1 Scope

This document specifies the technical requirements for low-speed vehicle drive axles (including chain drive drive axles, transmission conjoined drive axles and shaft drive drive axles). requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging and storage.

This document applies to the design, manufacture and inspection of low-speed vehicle drive axles.
