Scope

GB/T 23600-2009 is the English-translated version of 镁合金铸件X射线实时成像检测方法.

GB/T 23600-2009 lays down the method for real-time X-ray radioscopic non-destructive testing of magnesium alloy castings.

Clause 1 states that the standard does not provide acceptance criteria for internal inhomogeneity in castings, and that it applies to the real-time non-destructive detection of the type and severity of internal inhomogeneity in magnesium alloy castings.

Clause 3 describes the principle of the method: a radiation reception and conversion device such as an image intensifier, a flat panel or a linear imaging scanner, together with a monitor, takes the place of conventional film radiography; the X-rays are converted into digital or analogue signals that are image-processed and shown on a display, so that the nature, size and position of internal defects can be read from the image and rated against the relevant standards.

Clause 4 sets out the terms and definitions, covering the digital storage and image-processing enhancement of the detected signal, the grey-level difference between an image detail and its background, the ability of the imaging system to display detail expressed in line pairs per millimetre (LP/mm), and unsharpness expressed in millimetres.

The normative references are GB/T 3323-2005 on the radiography of fusion-welded metal joints, GB/T 19293-2003 on real-time radioscopic testing of butt welds, GB/T 19943-2005 on the basic rules for X-ray and gamma-ray radiographic testing of metallic materials, and JB/T 7902 on line-type image quality indicators.

The standard was proposed by the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association and is administered by the national technical committee for non-ferrous metals standardization. It was issued on 15 April 2009 and has applied since 1 February 2010.

Foreword

The standard reference BSEN13608.3-2001 "destructive testing Radiographic testing of metallic materials X, gamma-ray inspection and general principles" Making. The standard proposed by China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association. This standard Nonferrous Metals by the National Standardization Technical Committee.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the magnesium alloy castings X-ray real-time imaging nondestructive testing methods. But it does not provide an acceptable internal casting inhomogeneity Guidelines.

This standard applies to internal magnesium alloy castings type and severity of the unevenness of the real-time non-destructive testing.

2 Normative references

The following documents contain provisions which, through reference in this standard and become the standard terms. For dated references, subsequent Amendments (not including errata content) or revisions do not apply to this standard, however, encourage the parties to the agreement are based on research Whether the latest versions of these documents. For undated reference documents, the latest versions apply to this standard.

3 PRINCIPLE OF THE METHOD

Real-time X-ray imaging detection technology is a ray from the reception/conversion means (image intensifier or a panel or a linear imaging scanner, etc. Ray sensitive device) and the monitor instead of the traditional film radiography to obtain new nondestructive testing technology ray image.

Use ray Reception/conversion means will not be visible in X-rays into digital or analog signals, after the image processing is displayed on the display, the display of FIG. Like to provide information about the nature of the defect within the material, size, position, etc., in accordance with the relevant standards on the test results defect rating, namely You can achieve the purpose of detection.

4 Terms and Definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this standard.

4.1

After the computer detection signal digitized according to a certain format stored in the computer, using digital image processing techniques to image contrast clarity and enhanced in order to obtain a better image quality and visual effects.

4.2

Gray difference image detail image as the background image.

4.3

Imaging systems the ability to display the details, with the number of line pairs per millimeter (LP/mm) represents.

4.4

Physical quantity corresponding to the image clarity. After a clear and sharp boundary imaging device, the image will become blurred its borders, the width of the image is blurred area unsharpness, in millimeters (mm).
