GB/T 23269-2009 — This standard is GB/T 9387 defined the framework of the OSI application layer standards. This standard defines the interlibrary loan service. The interlibrary loan (ILL) protocol to communicate with the remote service support used in combination, can provide interlibrary loan services.

Support remote communications services can be store and forward messaging services (such as text-oriented exchange system standard, GB/T 16284. 4 to provide services), or use the GB/T 15695 and GB/T 16688 direct -connected services.

This standard does not apply to individual or product will be described, nor force the entities within a single computer system and interface implementation. The computer system is varied, can be a separate workstation, or a host.

This standard is intended by the library union catalog center of this public information agencies, and other document information processing system to use.

These systems can participate in interlibrary loan services in the following roles: the requesting party (such as interlibrary loan requests the author), the responder (such as literature or information provider) and/or intermediaries (such as finding the right on behalf of the requesting party the responder agent).
