Foreword

This revised standard adopts ISO 11556:2005 "Paper and board measurement sample using a single vertically suspended curl." this standard and ISO 11556:2005 as compared to the main technical differences are as follows.

--- Normative references to international standards in the ISO standard document references into its corresponding national standard, GB/T 450 paper and to take samples and specimens of vertical and horizontal to the board, positive and negative determination (GB/T 450-2008, ISO 186:2002, MOD);

--- International Standard ISO document standard will be referenced in the normative references converted to its corresponding national standard, GB/T 10739 paper, paperboard and pulp sample processing and testing standard atmospheric conditions (GB/T 10739-2002, eqv ISO 187:1990).

1 Scope

This standard specifies the vertical suspension method for determining the sample paper curl.

In the following cases, this standard can be used to determine all curling.

--- A curved shape formed approximately in an arc;

--- Samples were cut and measured in the process, curl should remain stable, should ensure that the sample after exposure to curl or curl Under a constant environment, such as a laboratory or a print shop.

Note 1. Determination selects the Environment and the time required depends on the purpose of the test.

3 Terms and definitions, code

The following terms and definitions apply to this standard code.

The size of the extent of deviation from the measurement sample plane.

Note 1. The degree of curvature can be expressed as the reciprocal of the sample crimp radius of curvature, the unit m-1.

Note 2. radius of curvature of the curl of the sample refers to the distance between the arc center of the arc. For flat sheet, the reciprocal of the radius of curvature is zero.

Note 3. The time depends on the characteristics of the paper curling, and all are likely to occur temporary.
