3 Terms and Definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this section.

The ratio of material quality and volume, expressed in grams per milliliter (g/mL).

Principle 4

The sample to be tested is placed on a glass or stainless steel U- shaped tube, and filled. The tube ends fixed, and begin to vibrate.

The vibration frequency of the sample tubes will be filled with different sample tube quality varies.

5 Temperature

5.1 relative filling properties, the effect of temperature on the density is large, and with the product type.

5.2 part of the provisions of 23 °C ± 0.5 °C as the standard temperature. In some specific cases, use other identification such as temperature measurement 20 °C ± 0.5 °C (see Appendix C).

5.3 Throughout the test, the sample tubes and the oscillator should be kept at a specific temperature, and should be tested to ensure that the entire Process, the change in temperature of no more than 0.5 °C.

6 Instruments

Routine laboratory equipment and glassware and the following instruments.

6.1 Oscillator

The U- shaped glass tube or stainless steel tube to vibrate and instrument components. A template display vibration frequency, another template calculates and it shows density values.
