GB/T 21844-2008 is the English-translated version of 化合物(蒸气和气体)易燃性浓度限值的标准试验方法.

GB/T 21844-2008 — This standard specifies the test temperature and at atmospheric pressure chemical vapor and air form combustion of the combustible mixture and the upper concentration limit Determination of the degree.

Test can be used as an inert diluent gas, but can not use strong oxidizing substance than air. This standard applies to vapor and gaseous substances. Note 1. The lower flammable limit (LFL) and upper flammable limit (UFL) were also sometimes called lower explosive limit (LEL) and the upper explosive limit (UEL).

However, LEL and UEL can sometimes represent concentration, but this limits the non-standard definitions, so when referencing LEL and UEL, we must clarify the exact definition.
