Foreword

This standard is amended to use ISO 12195.:1995 "Determination of leaf-bearing tobacco cuttings" (in English).

Taking into account China's national conditions, compared with ISO 12195.:1995, this standard there are a few technical differences, these technical differences have been incorporated into the texts are marked with a vertical single line in the margins of the clauses to which they relate. The technical differences and their causes are given in Appendix E.

This standard compared with ISO 12195.:1995, made the following changes.

--- Delete ISO 12195.:1995 directory;

--- Delete ISO 12195.:1995 foreword;

--- The scope of this standard adds a note, the deletion of the relevant content of international standards Determination of cigars, the application of tobacco types increased Drying tobacco

--- 3.1.10 unit of pressure into the international unit "Pa";

--- 4.2.3 in the "tobacco stems discharge time" by "60s" changed to "not less than 20s";

--- Added Appendix E "This standard and ISO 12195.:1995 control." Since the date of the implementation of this standard YC/T 136-1998 "leaf tobacco leaf stubble determination" abolished.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions of stems and leaves in tobacco leaves, as well as leaf tobacco leaves sampling and determination of the rate of containing the leaves.

This standard applies to flue-cured tobacco, burley, etc. leaves or hand-torn leaf tobacco.

Note. This standard is also applicable to drying tobacco, cigars and so on. Different types of tobacco leaf stems required for the separation of air flow rate can be adjusted by adjusting the air box in the air flow speed, see Appendix A.

2 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this standard.

The main leaf of tobacco.

The part between the main veins of tobacco leaves.

Blade leaf or tear after the leaves.

Mechanical separation of tobacco stems and stems and other stems of the process.

Torn tobacco stems from the tobacco leaves, tobacco films get the process.

Mini-lobe and breeze boxes control leaves and sort tobacco stems from the leaves in a controlled manner.

Sifter that simulates screening and vibrating in a uniform and constant manner.
