Scope
GB/T 2085.2-2019 is the English-translated version of 铝粉 第2部分:球磨铝粉.
GB/T 2085.2-2019 is Part 2 of GB/T 2085 and covers the aluminium powder made by dry ball milling. It sets the requirements, the test methods, the inspection rules and the rules for marking, packaging, transport and storage, together with the content of the quality certificate and of the order form or contract.
A grade is written as FLQ followed by two to four digits, with an optional letter: the number is the largest screen aperture used in the sieving test and the letter separates powders of the same aperture by particle size distribution and covering power.
The powder is used in anti-corrosion coatings, chemical catalysts, aluminium pigments, aerated concrete gas generators, pesticides, gunpowder, explosives and fireworks.
It replaces GB/T 2085.2-2007, was issued on 4 June 2019 and has applied since 1 May 2020.

Foreword
GB/T 2085 "aluminum powder" is divided into four parts.
---Part 1. Air atomized aluminum powder;
---Part 2. Ball milled aluminum powder;
--- Part 3. pulverizing aluminum powder;
--- Part 4. Nitrogen atomized aluminum powder.
This part is the second part of GB/T 2085.
This part is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This part replaces GB/T 2085.2-2007 "Aluminum powder Part 2: Ball milled aluminum powder". This part is related to GB/T 2085.2-2007 In addition to the editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.
--- Added normative reference document YS/T 617.7 (see 2 and 4.1);
--- Added normative reference document SN/T 0370.3 (see 2 and 6.1.2);
---Added two products of FLQ1600 and FLQ850 (see 3.1.1, 3.1.1 of 2007 edition);
--- Revised Table 1, the grades and specific requirements are listed as Tables 1 and 2 (see Table 1, Table 2, Table 1 of the 2007 edition);
--- Modified the particle size distribution unit "particle size/µm" to "screen aperture/µm" (see 3.1.1, 3.1.1 of the 2007 edition);
--- Modified FLQ355B's oil content "1.0" to "0.7" (see 3.3, 2007 version 3.3);
--- Modified FLQ80A, FLQ56, FLQ45 grease content "3.8" to "3.55" (see 3.3, 2007 version of 3.3);
--- Increased chemical composition of Al2O3 requirements (see Table 3, Table 2 of the 2007 edition);
--- Increase the formula for the calculation of Al2O3 content (see 4.2.4);
--- Increase the relevant requirements for the export of dangerous goods packaging (see 6.1);
--- Added a comparison table between the brand name and the brand used (see Appendix A).
1 Scope
This part of GB/T 2085 specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs, packaging, transportation, storage, and dry-type ball-milled aluminum powder. Quality certificate and order form (or contract) content.
This section applies to anti-corrosion coatings, chemical catalysts, metallic aluminum pigments, aerated concrete gas generators, pesticides produced by dry ball milling. Ball milled aluminum powder (hereinafter referred to as aluminum powder) used for gunpowder, explosives, fireworks and firecrackers.

3 Requirements
3.1 Brand
3.1.1 The aluminum powder grade is expressed in the form of "FLQ" plus two to four digits (or a number followed by an English letter), where "FLQ" is The identification code of the ball milled aluminum powder, the number in the grade represents the maximum aperture of the screen selected by the aluminum powder screening test.
3.1.2 The letter mark in the grade indicates the difference in particle size distribution and/or cover water area in the powder with the same maximum pore size of the selected screen. Different powders with different physical properties.
3.1.3 The grades and typical uses are shown in Table 1. See Appendix A for comparison with the used grades.
