GB/T 20455-2023Forwarders - Terms, definitions and commercial specifications (English PDF)

Foreword

This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules for Standardization Documents" drafting.

This document replaces GB/T 20455-2006 "Terms, Definitions and Product Specifications for Forestry Machinery Forwarders", and GB/T 20455- Compared with 2006, except for structural adjustment and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows:

a) Change "wheel balancer" to "wheel frame" throughout the text;

b) Changed the definitions of "front", "rear", "right", "left" and "reference ground plane" (see 3.1.1, 3.1.2, 3.1.3, 3.1.4, 3.1.5, 2006 version 3.1.1, 3.1.2, 3.1.3);

c) Changed the definition of "quality of work" (see 3.2.1, 3.2.1 of the 2006 edition);

d) Deleted the terms and definitions of "maximum service quality" (see 3.2.2 of the 2006 edition);

e) Added "rated load", "total machine mass", "shaft distribution of wheeled machine mass", "maximum allowable axle load", "transportation mass" and "driving Terms and definitions of cab quality, cab quality, rollover protective structure quality, and falling object protective structure quality (see 3.2.2, 3.2.3, 3.2.4, 3.2.4.2, 3.2.5, 3.2.6, 3.2.7, 3.2.8, 3.2.9);

f) The definitions of "axle load", "overall length", "wheelbase", "ground clearance", "load tire radius" and "wheelbase" have been changed (see 3.2.4.1, 3.3.2, 3.3.3, 3.3.13, 3.3.15, 3.3.20, 3.2.3, 3.3.2, 3.3.3, 3.3.12, 3.3.14, 3.3.19 of the 2006 edition);

g) Changed "cabin height outside the cab" to "total cab height" and changed its definition (see 3.3.8, 3.3.8 of the 2006 edition);

h) Changed the content of "Other related content" (see Chapter 4, Chapter 4 of the 2006 edition).

This document is equivalent to ISO 13860:2016 "Terms, Definitions and Product Specifications for Forestry Machinery Forwarders".

The following minimal editorial changes have been made to this document.

--- In order to coordinate with existing standards, change the name of the standard to "Terms, Definitions and Specifications for Forwarders";

--- The term "rear", "swing angle of vehicle frame", "swing angle of bridge", "steering angle", "swing angle of wood handling machine" and "swing angle of wheel frame assembly" have added notes;

--- Added index.

1 Scope

This document defines the terms and definitions, as well as necessary information, to identify and describe the main dimensions and characteristics of wheeled forwarders from the overall structure.

This document applies to articulated wheel forwarders (according to the definition of ISO 6814, forwarders are used to collect and transport trees or branches by carrying self-propelled machinery).
