Foreword

This standard is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009 and GB/T .20000.2-2009.

This standard replaces GB/T .20144-2006 "C14 with E27 and lampholders with lampshade ring", and GB/T .20144-2006 Compared to the main technical changes as follows.

--- the standard name changed to "with a shade ring with a lampholder with a cylindrical thread";

--- an overview of the scope, including 1.1 scope and 1.2 normative reference documents related content (see Chapter 1);

- Added terms and definitions (see Chapter 2);

--- Increased requirements for cylindrical threads (Chapter 3);

- change the "E14 and E27 lampholders with shade rings" to "metal or plastic lampholders with metal or plastic shade rings"; delete the table in the case of the lamp holder, increase the "20.8 × 2" size (see standard parameter table).

This standard uses the translation method equivalent to the use of IEC 60399.:2008 "with a shade ring with a lampholder with a cylindrical thread." and the normative reference in this standard international documents are consistent with the relationship between China's documents are as follows.

2 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

Barrel thread

Used to support the external thread on the lampholder housing.

Shade ring A cylindrical member having an internal thread supported by the lamp holder housing for supporting or holding the lamp cover.

3 Cylindrical thread requirements

3.1 General requirements

For B15 and B22 lampholders, if fitted to Figure 8 of IEC 61184, other cylindrical threads other than those specified in this standard may be used.

For other lampholders, mounted only by lamps or equipment manufacturers may use other cylindrical threads other than those specified in this standard. in in all other cases, the cylindrical threads specified in this standard are mandatory.
