Scope
GB/T 20120.1-2006 is the English-translated version of 金属和合金的腐蚀 腐蚀疲劳试验 第1部分:循环失效试验.
GB/T 20120.1-2006 — This standard specifies the metal and its alloys in aqueous or gaseous environments and corrosion fatigue test cycles to failure tests. Crack growth tests specified in GB/T 20120.
2-2006 in. Corrosion or other chemically active metals and their alloys can promote environment-induced fatigue cracks and accelerate fatigue crack growth rate.
Corrosion fatigue process is not confined to the particular metal/environment system, if there is no laboratory test data obtained from the side, for the environment in all combinations of loads and fatigue life safety calculations were not performed. This section does not apply to corrosion fatigue testing parts or components.

What this standard covers
This standard specifies the metal and its alloys in aqueous or gaseous environments and corrosion fatigue test cycles to failure tests. However, many of the general principles still apply.
