Scope
GB/T 20013.3-2025 is the English-translated version of 核医学仪器 例行试验 第3部分:正电子发射断层成像装置.
Positron emission tomography scanners must be checked regularly to confirm that they keep performing as expected. This standard, Part 3 of the series on routine tests for nuclear medicine instrumentation, applies to positron emission tomographs. It is a recommended national standard that supports ongoing quality assurance of imaging equipment.
Hospital nuclear medicine departments, medical physicists, equipment manufacturers, service engineers and independent testing or metrology institutions can use it when setting up or auditing routine test programmes. Healthcare providers who must show that imaging equipment is controlled will find a defined framework of tests useful.
The standard was issued on 31 October 2025 and takes effect on 1 May 2027, which leaves a long preparation period. It replaces GB/T 20013.3-2015, so facilities should plan to update their quality assurance documents.
