Foreword

This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1:1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents"

Drafting:

This document replaces GB 19652-2005 "Safety Requirements for Discharge Lamps (Except Fluorescent Lamps)": Compared with GB 19652-2005, except for the structure

In addition to adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows:

---Changed the terminology of "UV Hazardous Efficacy of Photovisual Radiation", "Group", "Family", "Delivery Test" and "Metal Halide Lamp with Self-Protective Screen"

Righteousness (see Chapter 3, Chapter 3 of the:2005 edition);

---Changed the additional content of the logo (see 4:2:2, 4:2:2 of the:2005 version);

---Changed the requirements for creepage distance (see 4:3:1:2, 4:3:1:2 of the:2005 version);

---Added qualification inspection requirements for accidentally energized parts (see 4:4:1);

---Changed the corresponding requirements for insulation resistance (see 4:4:2, 4:4:2 of the:2005 edition);

---Added "Tolerance Test Procedures for Metal Halide Lamps with Quartz Arc Tubes" and "Metal Halide Lamps with Ceramic Arc Tubes"

This document specifies the safety requirements for discharge lamps (other than fluorescent lamps) for general lighting:

This document applies to low-pressure sodium lamps and high-intensity discharge lamps (HID), i:e: high-pressure mercury lamps (including hybrid lamps), high-pressure sodium lamps and metal halides

Lamps complying with this document are rated at 90% to 110% of the rated supply voltage when equipped with corresponding ballasts, starting devices and lamps:
