Introduction

The information generated during the manufacturing process of industrial products is crucial to the product's lifecycle, especially in a sustainable development context.

In this environment, manufacturing can be defined as the transformation from raw materials or semi-finished products into finished products. This encompasses the entire production cycle from material preparation to finished product delivery.

In China, manufacturing management plays a guiding and regulating role in logistics, including its impact on resource management.

A manufacturing management system manages the entire production chain (from suppliers, through manufacturers and integrators, to distributors, and sometimes to consumers).

Logistics and product processes.

The production planning function of the supplier plant is closely related to the main production plant's main production scheduler. The production scheduler provides the supplier plant with information about...

Information on potential future demand patterns is provided to help suppliers plan their production. The master plant's operational planning system continuously sends information to suppliers.

Orders secure the resources needed for the production and assembly of components, parts, and other materials.

Therefore, data related to production management can be divided into the following three main categories.

---Information exchanged with external parties, such as between the main production plant and the supplier;

---Information related to resource management used in the manufacturing process;

---Information related to manufacturing process management.

Note. This information is typically provided within the main production plant and exchanged between different machines or production units.

These three types of manufacturing management data provide standardized data models. GB/T 19114 was developed with the aim of providing a way to express these three types of data.

Common, standardized software for data facilitates integration among a wide range of digital industrial applications.

---Part 1: Overview. The purpose is to provide an overview of GB/T 19114, clarify its scope, and provide several basic definitions.

---Part 31: Standardizing the Representation of Externally Exchanged Product Data. The purpose is to describe the scope of the GB/T 19114.3x series.

And a resource information model. It also provides the main principles used in this series of standards.

---Part 32: Resource Application Management. A conceptual model of resource application management data. The purpose is to explain resource usage management data.
