GB/T 18903-2002 is the English-translated version of 信息技术服务质量框架.

GB/T 18903-2002 — This standard applies to QOS (quality of service), and make IT -related topics with QOS division as possible, and to the relationship between these topics described by means of public expression.

In particular, the framework for the provision of IT systems and services in an open distributed processing use. Through the application in a variety of systems, services and resources QOS provide guidance on the design of the framework attempts to standardize IT systems and communication services and protocols and to define help.

The Framework describes how to characterize QOS, how to provide QOS requirements and how to manage QOS. The framework defines the QOS in IT terms and definitions.

Which introduced the concept of the QOS features, these features expressed the need for a different approach to management of the basic aspects of QOS. It also defines a number of particularly important QOS characteristics.

This framework is not an attempt to shake any of the existing standards, but it can be used for the following persons: QOS mechanisms defined or used new or revised IT-related standard setters, express QOS requirements and IT users.
