This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part 1.Structure and Drafting Rules for Standardization Documents"

This document replaces GB/T 18828-2013 "Diving Watch". Compared with GB/T 18828-2013, except for structural adjustments and editorial changes
In addition, the main technical changes are as follows.
a) Changed the "Scope" and included the "Naming" chapter of the.2013 edition after revision (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 and Chapter 1 of the.2013 edition
Chapter 4);
b) Changed "Terms and Definitions" (see Chapter 3, Chapter 3 of the.2013 edition);
c) The "Requirements" and "Test Methods" chapters of the.2013 edition are merged into the same chapter "Requirements and Test Methods", and the "Practice
"International significance" chapter was revised and included (see Chapter 4, Chapter 5, Chapter 6 and Chapter 7 of the.2013 edition);
d) Added "overview" in "requirements and test methods", including "temperature", "visual inspection", "tested product configuration", "practical significance", "potential
Water time indicator" and "type inspection and 100% full inspection", of which "visual inspection" "actual meaning" and "diving time indication
Device" and "type inspection and 100% full inspection" were revised and incorporated from the relevant content of the.2013 edition (see 4.1,.2013 edition

e) Changed the "visibility" requirements and test methods (see 4.2, 6.2 of the.2013 edition);
f) The requirements and test methods for "antimagnetic performance" have been changed (see 4.3, 6.3 of the.2013 edition);
g) Added "temperature cycle" and "salt spray test (attached table)" in "requirements and test methods" (see 4.4, 4.5);
h) The requirements and test methods for "shockproof performance" have been changed (see 4.6 and 4.8, 6.4 of the.2013 edition);
i) The requirements and test methods for "salt water resistance" are deleted (see 6.5, 7.3.3 of the.2013 edition);
j) Added "Waterproof performance" in "Requirements and test methods", including "Functional devices in shallow water", "Crowns and other setting devices
Water resistance when force is applied", "Functional devices under excess water pressure" and "Water resistance under excess water pressure", some of the contents are from the.2013 edition.
Relevant content was revised and included (see 4.7, 6.6, 6.7.2, 6.10, 7.3.4, 7.3.6 and 7.3.7 of the.2013 edition);
k) The requirements and test methods of "Anti-external force performance of accessories" have been changed (see 4.9, 6.7.1 and 7.3.1 of the.2013 edition);
l) Delete the requirements and test methods of "thermal shock resistance" (see 6.8, 7.3.5 of the.2013 edition);
m) Changed the "condensation test" (see 4.10, 7.3.8 of the.2013 edition);
n) Changed the "mark" (see Chapter 5, Chapter 8 of the.2013 edition);
o) Added "use and maintenance recommendations" (see Chapter 6 and Appendix D);
p) Added the normative appendix "Saturation Diving Diving Table", including "Overview", "Requirements and tests for operation under helium overpressure (type inspection
inspection)" and "Mark", modified from the relevant content of the.2013 edition (see Appendix A, 6.11 and Appendix A of the.2013 edition);
q) An informative appendix "Airtightness under superpressure" has been added, which is revised from the relevant content of the.2013 edition (see Appendix B, the.2013 edition
6.9 and 7.3.2);
r) Added an informative appendix "Diving Chart" (see Appendix C).
This document is equivalent to ISO 6425.2018 "Watch and Diving Watches".
