GB/T 18235.1-2000 is the English-translated version of 信息技术高性能并行接口第1部分：机械、电气及信号协议规范(HIPPI-PH).

GB/T 18235.1-2000 — This standard specifies the mechanical, electrical and signaling protocol specification for data processing equipment between the high-performance, point- effective simplex interface.

The interface described in this standard can 800Mbit/s or 1600Mbit/s peak data rate operations, the use of more than copper from 25m. Even if the transmission distance exceeds a predetermined HIPP-PH case, irrespective of the distance signal protocol also allows the average data rate close to the peak data rate.

This standard applies to, through the physical layer and data layer at framing a common interface to provide for the development and application of computer systems.

The interface on different computers, high-performance display systems and high-performance intelligent block transfer between peripheral devices to provide an effective interconnection.
