Foreword

This standard is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This standard replaces GB 17885-2009 "Electrical contactors for household and similar use".

This standard compared with GB 17885-2009 main technical changes.

--- increase the use of category AC-7c (with compensated discharge lamp control of the off) and its related performance requirements and testing;

- Revised the requirements and test methods for dielectric properties;

- Revision of the signs and identification of the contactor terminals of Appendix A (normative);

- Revision of Appendix F (Normative Appendix) Rated impulse withstand voltage for contactor Nominal voltage and contactor for power supply system the value of the rated impulse withstand voltage;

- Added enclosure H (normative) enclosure protective rating of enclosed contactors;

- Added Appendix I (normative) Performance requirements and test methods for protective isolators with protective isolation.

This standard uses the translation method equivalent to IEC 61095..2009Ed2.0 "home and similar use electromechanical contactor".

1 Scope

This standard is suitable for home and similar use of electromechanical contactor, the main contact for connecting the rated voltage does not exceed the exchange of 440V (line Voltage), the use of class AC-7a under the rated operating current is less than or equal to 63A, the use of class AC-7b and AC-7c under the rated operating current Less than or equal to 32A, rated circuit limited to short circuit current less than or equal to 6kA.

The contactors involved in this standard are generally not used to break short-circuit current, so the equipment should be equipped with appropriate short-circuit protection (See 9.3.4).

This standard does not apply to the following appliances.

--- contactor according to IEC 60947-4-1;

--- semiconductor contactor;

--- special purpose contactor;

--- The auxiliary contact of the contactor, see IEC 60947-5-1 for its requirements.
