Test Method 4
4.1 Sample Preparation
Unless otherwise specified in the relevant cable, should the finished cable respectively intercept at least two samples of not less than 300mm in length. each
Figure 1 root samples should be prepared. Stripping head should be very careful so as not to affect the adhesion of the sample.
Rally test should be applied to that part of the two parts of smaller diameter, the portion should be long enough can be tensile testing machine Collet clamping.
4.2 Program
Specimens shall be as shown in Figure 2, into the tensile testing machine and test fixture. Diameter orifice plate test should be higher than the test sites in both diameter A small portion of a large 0.10mm ± 0.03mm.
Tension should not exceed 100mm/min is applied to the speed and stability, according to the different parts of the test until the dielectric, the outer conductor or sheath Completely removed. Avoid sudden pull and yank. Physical treatment of the sample should be as little as possible, so as not to damage the sample.
4.3 The results are shown Defined as the maximum adhesion tension measured. Test report adhesion value should measurements median.
5 Requirements
Length (l) and adhesion values \u200b\u200bshould comply with the relevant cable specification.
Conductor surface may leave a small presence of insulating material residue.
