Foreword

This standard is identical with the international standard ISO/IEC 7813:2006 "Information technology - Identification cards - Financial transaction cards" (in English).

This standard replaces GB/T 17552-1998 "Identification cards - Financial transaction cards." this standard compared with GB/T 17552-1998, the main changes are as follows.

--- Increased ATM (automatedtelermachine (ATM)), cash (cashdisbursement), goods and Service (goodsandservices), personal identification number (personalidentificationnumber (PIN)), PIN login set Preparation of (PINEntryDevice (PED)), service code (servicecode), track data (trackdata) and other terms and definition;

--- Increased abbreviations;

--- The provisions of the standard description and text more clear and crisp;

--- Track data structure and information content were clearly defined, easy to use;

--- Proposed structure and data content of IC card and pointed to interoperability, it is recommended to consider financial applications on a line with ICC JR/T 0025.

Introduction

This standard is to describe the identification card as well as one of the parameters of this card in the application of international exchange series.

This standard specifies the data structure and content of financial transaction card.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the data structure and data content to use when initiating a financial transaction track data. It is from both humans and machines test Into account, noting the minimum requirements for consistency. It includes the layout of the card, recording techniques, numbering system and registration procedures, but does not include the safety requirements.

GB/T 17554 specifies the test procedures for the detection of parameters specified in this standard ID-1 type card.

2 Conformance

If the financial transaction card meets all the necessary requirements specified below, the financial transaction card is consistent with this standard.

Necessary conditions consistent with this standard is ISO/IEC 4909, GB/T 14916, GB/T 15120, GB/T 15694, GB/T 16649, ISO/IEC 10536, ISO/IEC 14443, consistent with ISO/IEC 15693 requirements in the appropriate regulations.

4 Definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this standard.
