Foreword

Household and similar appliance couplers are divided into the following sections.

Couplings by weight of the appliance this section is Part 2-1 of "Household and similar appliance couplers." this section drafted in accordance with GB/T 1.1-2009 given rules.

This section uses the redrafted law to amend the use of IEC 60320-2-1:2000 "household and similar appliance couplers Part 2-1.

Sewing machine coupler. " this part of IEC 60320-2-1:2000 technical differences and the reasons are as follows.

--- On the normative references, this section made a technical difference with the adjustment to adapt to China's technical conditions, adjust the situation Concentration reflected in the second chapter "Normative references", the specific adjustments are as follows.

- Replace IEC 60335-2-28:1994 with GB 4706.74 which adopts the same international standard;

- Replacing IEC 60320-1:1994 with GB/T 17465.1-2009 modified to adopt international standards;

- IEC/T R60083 replaced IEC 60083:1997.

This section made the following editorial changes.

--- In accordance with the relevant provisions of GB/T 1.1, in Chapter 1 "Scope" added "This section provides household and similar sewing machine coupling Clutch structure, electrical performance, mechanical performance and other technical requirements ";

--- Because IEC 60320-2-1:2000 corresponds to IEC 60320-1:1994, and our country GB/T 17465.1-2009 corresponds to IEC 60320-1:2007; GB/T 17465.1-2009 amended the clause number of Chapter 12, therefore, this section 12.1.3 will be changed to 12.3,12.2.4 Changed to 12.102, 12.2.6 changed to 12.103;

--- As GB/T 17465.1-2009 Chapter 5 and Appendix A are applicable to this section, while Appendix A is only involved in Chapter 5, Therefore, Annex A of IEC 60320-2-1:2000 is deleted.

1 Scope

This part of GB/T 17465.1-2009 is replaced by.

This standard specifies the household and similar sewing machine coupler structure, electrical performance, mechanical properties and other technical requirements.

This section applies to only AC, rated voltage does not exceed 250V, rated current does not exceed 2.5A household sewing machine coupling Clutch.

The sewing machine coupler may include two or more contacts, depending on the control element or circuitry required to operate the sewing machine, and may be carried or without ground contact.

Sewing machine coupler Appliance coupler designed for use on sewing machines.

Sewing machine coupler consists of two parts.

--- Sewing machine connector, which is integral with the cord or flexible cable, or intended to be fixed to the cord or flexible cable part.

--- sewing machine input socket, with the sewing machine or its control device integrated or installed in the sewing machine or its control device, or intended to be fixed to the sewing machine part.
