foreword
This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1:1-2020 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules for Standardization Documents"
drafting:
This document is the first part of GB/T 17272 "Information of Containers on Ships": GB/T 17272 has issued the following parts:
--- Part 1: Box location coordinate code;
--- Part 2: Teletype data code:
This document replaces GB/T 17272:1-1998 "Information Box Coordinate Codes of Containers on Ships", and GB/T 17272:1-
Compared with:1998, except for structural adjustment and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows:
a) Added "bay number" (see Chapter 5);
b) The "expression method of shell number data" has been added (see Chapter 6):
This document is modified to adopt ISO 9711-1:1990 "Information of Containers on Ships Part 1: Coordinate Codes of Container Positions":
The technical differences between this document and ISO 9711-1:1990 and their reasons are as follows:
--- Replaced ISO 6346:1995 (see 4:4) with the normatively quoted GB/T 1836 to meet the technical requirements of our country;
--- Added "bay number" (see Chapter 5) to further standardize the location information of the container on the ship, which is convenient for actual operation and avoids mistakes
operate;
--- Added "Bay number data expression" (see Chapter 6) to facilitate the use of standards:

Introduction
In order to improve the efficiency of container loading and unloading ships and avoid misoperation of container loading and unloading, the method of referring to the coordinates, the shipping company puts the container on the ship
The location information is marked, and the coordinate code of the box location is established: In order to facilitate the shipping company to send information such as the coordinates of the container to the port, it is convenient for the container
For loading and unloading operations, the shipping company and the port have established telex data rules, thus forming a complete set of container position coordinates on the ship:
codes and telex data codes, and expanded to freight forwarders, shipping agents and other related business parties: GB/T 17272 "Letters of containers on board ships"
"Information" aims to standardize the information of containers on ships, so as to improve the efficiency of container loading and unloading operations and reduce misoperation: It consists of two parts:
--- Part 1: Box location coordinate code: The purpose is to specify the positioning method of the container loaded on the ship, and the application of this method can be used for all
Spatial positioning of each container loaded:
--- Part 2: Teletype data code: The purpose is to specify the uniform code required for the data transmission of the ship's packing plan:
Or fax service, within a short period of time, the relevant information will be delivered to the location of loading/unloading:
Information about the container on board the ship
Part 1: Coordinate code of box location
1 Scope
This document stipulates the positioning information of containers loaded on ships, including the coordinate code of the container position, the bay number and the data expression method of the bay number:
This document applies to the positioning of international standard (ISO ) containers on ships, and non-international standard (ISO ) containers are used as a reference:
2 Normative references
The contents of the following documents constitute the essential provisions of this document through normative references in the text: Among them, dated references
For documents, only the version corresponding to the date is applicable to this document; for undated reference documents, the latest version (including all amendments) is applicable to
this document:

3 Terms and Definitions
This document does not have terms and definitions that need to be defined:
4 Bin coordinate code
4:1 Composition
Containers on a ship are positioned in a row, column, and layer sequence: The box location coordinates are formulated according to the following size modulus:
a) The transverse direction is 2438mm;
b) The longitudinal direction is 6096mm;
c) Vertical is 1295mm:
4:2 Line numbering
Line numbers are arranged in the order of natural numbers from the bow to the stern, expressed with 2 digits of Arabic numerals, and the first to ninth lines should be in the ones digit
Add zeros before to make up 2 digits: The 40ft container is represented by an even sequence number, and the 20ft container is represented by an odd sequence number: when
When two 20ft containers share a 40ft container space, the former is marked on the 40ft container space map, and the latter is marked with a line number one block higher than the former
The odd number is marked on the 20ft container box map:
4:3 Column Numbering
The number of columns is based on the longitudinal section, expressed with 2 digits of Arabic numerals, and zeros should be added before the single digits in columns 1 to 9: middle column
If it is "00", it is represented by an even sequence number on the port side, and an odd sequence number on the starboard side:
4:4 Layer number
The layer number is counted from the upper surface of the inner bottom of the ship section, and is represented by 2 Arabic numerals; the height is 2159mm (8
2ft
) assembly
