Foreword

This standard is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This standard replaces GB/T 16178-1996 "Technical requirements for safety inspection of motor vehicles in the factory".

This standard compared with GB/T 16178-1996, the main changes are as follows.

- Added Chapter 3 "Terms and Definitions";

--- removed the previous "3.1 ~ 3.14" of the "vehicle classification";

--- increased "5.3.7", "after the release of the accelerator pedal, should ensure that it can automatically reset.";

--- increased "5.6.3", "the driving brake in the first time to take the braking measures should be able to achieve maximum braking performance.";

1 Scope

This standard specifies the inspection requirements of the safety technology in the use of motor vehicles (hereinafter referred to as vehicles) in the field.

This standard applies to the presence of (factory) within the driving or engaged in production operations of motor vehicles.

This standard does not apply to the military, public security, agricultural sector management of motor vehicles.

Note. The main technical content of this standard does not involve the design and manufacture of the vehicle technical requirements.
