Foreword
This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents".
Drafting.
This document is Part 1 of GB/T 15470, "Performance Test Methods for Household Direct-Action Room Electric Heaters". GB/T 15470 the following sections have been released.
---Part 2: Additional provisions for the measurement of radiation coefficients;
---Part 3: Additional provisions for the measurement of radiation efficiency.
This document supersedes GB/T 15470-2002 "Performance Test Methods for Household Direct-Action Room Electric Heaters" and is consistent with GB/T 15470-Compared to 2002, aside from structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.
---Added the manufacturer's maximum declared room temperature value and applicable description to the "Measurement Items" section (see Chapter 5);
---A new chapter on "Verification of Manufacturer's Highest Room Temperature Declaration Value" has been added (see Chapter 17);
---The product model naming method has been removed (see Appendix E of the 2002 edition).
This document adopts IEC 60675:2018 "Performance test method for direct-acting room heaters for household use".
The following minimal editorial changes have been made to this document.
---The standard name has been changed to "Performance Test Methods for Household Direct-Action Room Electric Heaters Part 1: General Provisions", enhancing...

Introduction
GB/T 15470, "Performance Test Methods for Direct-Acting Room Electric Heaters for Households," aims to standardize the performance of direct-acting room electric heaters.
The performance testing method is proposed to consist of the following three parts.
---Part 1: General Requirements. The purpose is to specify the performance testing methods for household direct-acting room heaters.
---Part 2: Additional Regulations for the Measurement of Radiation Coefficient. The purpose is to regulate the radiation coefficient of household direct-acting room heaters.
Numerical measurement methods.
---Part 3: Additional Regulations for Radiation Efficiency Measurement. The purpose is to regulate the radiation efficiency of household direct-acting room heaters.
Rate measurement methods.

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
direct-acting room heater when a room needs heat, it can convert electrical energy into heat energy and immediately deliver the heat energy to the appliances in the room.
plate heater
Note 1.Some plate heaters are equipped with an oil-filled structure.
Note 2.Some plate heaters include columnar structures.
convection heater
During normal use, at least one unseen part of the heater that comes into contact with the room's circulating air experiences a temperature rise exceeding 75K.
Natural convection is used to discharge air from one or more outlets.
Note. "Invisible parts" refers to parts that are not visible from 2m in front of the heater and 1.2m above the ground after the heater is installed.
