GB/T 15470 "Performance test methods for household direct-acting room electric heaters" aims to standardize direct-acting room electric heaters the performance testing method is planned to consist of three parts.

Additional provisions for emissivity measurements

1 Scope

This chapter of IEC 60675:1994 is applicable with the following amendments. The first and second paragraphs are replaced by the following.

This document specifies the performance characteristics related to the radiant effect of domestic direct-acting electric room heaters and describes them for the reference of users.

Method for measuring emissivity.

This document applies to the measurement of the emissivity of direct-acting electric room heaters for domestic use.

radiant factor

The ratio of the measured infrared heat output to the measured total energy input, expressed in %.

Note. The emissivity of plate heaters, convection heaters and radiant heaters can be measured.

Radiation efficiency the heat flowing into the (test) chamber through radiation exchange between the effective radiation heating surface and the inner surface of the chamber is equal to the heat of the heater in the test chamber.
