Foreword

The partial modification of international standard IEC 60255-20. 1984 "Electrical relays - Part 20. Protection System" (in English).

For ease of use, this section made the following editorial changes.

a) 'this International Standard' to replace the word 'this section';

b) with a decimal point '. 'Instead of as a decimal point,' ';

c) Remove the preface to international standards.

This Part replaces GB/T 14598.8-1995 "Electrical relays - Part 20. Protection System." Section compared with the GB/T 14598.8-1995 The main changes are as follows.

--- Added "Normative References" chapter and referenced standards;

--- Appendix B Note 2 to 3 °;

--- Remove the Appendix H.

This section of the Appendix A, Appendix B, Appendix C, Appendix D, Appendix E, Appendix F, Appendix G is an informative annex.

This part is proposed by the China Electrical Equipment Industrial Association.

1 Scope

GB/T 14598 provisions of this part of the whole protection system and each part of the composition of performance requirements.

This section applies to the protection of the system and its performance impact protection devices and protective devices connected to it.

This section applies to the following objects.

--- Protection system or its components manufacturer;

--- User protection system;

--- Control panel factory;

--- Electrical equipment installers;

--- Consultant engineer.

Different IEC standard specifies the technical requirements for the various components of the protection system, prepare the relevant parts of this section refers to these standards.

Appendix A lists a block diagram of a protection system, the figure also shows the development of the various components of the system to protect the relevant technical specifications

IEC technical committees.

Decided to recommend that the user should be made consistent with the provisions related to the technical committees, these technical committees of the whole protection system be responsible for.
