Foreword
GB/T 14191 "Terms of Prosthetics and Orthotics" is divided into three parts.
---Part 1.Basic terminology of external limb prosthesis and external orthosis;
---Part 2.Terms of prosthesis and prosthesis users;
---Part 3.Orthotics terminology.
This part is Part 2 of GB/T 14191.
This section was drafted in accordance with the regulations given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
The translation method used in this part is equivalent to the adoption of ISO 8549-2.1989 ``Terms of Prosthetics and Orthotics Part 2.Prosthetics and Prosthetics
User Terminology.
This part is under the jurisdiction of the National Standardization Technical Committee for Rehabilitation and Special Equipment for the Disabled (SAC/TC148).

Amputation of the distal part of the ankle joint.

Ankle disarticulation
Amputation of the ankle joint.

Amputation of the knee joint.

2.2 Congenital absence of limbs
2.2.1
Missing deficiency
A state in which one or more limbs are completely or partially missing or underdeveloped.
2.2.2
Transversedeficiency
All bones at the distal end of the limb cross-section are completely missing.
2.2.3
Longitudinal deficiency
The longitudinal structure of the limbs is abnormal, resulting in the loss of all or part of the bones, while the distal bones are present.
2.2.4
Hypoplastic hypoplastic
Although the bones existed, their appearance was significantly reduced, and the shape did not change significantly.
2.2.5
Radial bone ray
Metatarsal bones and their corresponding phalanges, or metacarpal bones and their corresponding phalanges.
