This standard replaces GB/T 14001-1992 major changes "tape recording with time and control code", compared with the GB/T 14001-1992 as follows.

--- Delete the original standard section on the tape width of 19mm and 25.4mm broadcast television special tape recorder;

--- Increasing the width of the tape 6.35mm broadcast television special tape recorder section;

--- Modified Figures 3, 5, 6, 7 and 8, and their interpretation;

--- Updated bit allocation LTC and VITC code;

--- Updated the VITC timing algorithms.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the standard definition broadcast television video tape format encoding time and control codes, the modulation method, and on the tape Recording mode and location.
