Foreword

This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part 1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents"

Drafting.

This document replaces GB/T 1392-2009 "Gangd Winch", compared with GB/T 1392-2009, except for structural adjustments and editorial changes

In addition, the main technical changes are as follows.

a) Added the definition of the terms "reel load" and "supporting load" (see 3.2, 3.3);

b) The size requirements of the reel are changed (see 4.4, 5.1.2 of the.2009 edition);

c) The requirements for the braking device of the winch have been added (see 4.6);

d) The selection and design requirements of steel wire ropes have been changed (see 4.7, 4.8, 5.2.2 and 5.2.4 of the.2009 edition);

e) The requirements for the equipment of the manual drive device of the power source to drive the winch have been added (see 4.11);

f) Added requirements for the use of asbestos materials for winches (see 4.14);

g) Added the nominal specifications of winches (see Table 1);

h) The nominal speed limit of the power source driven winch is changed (see 5.2, 5.4.1 of the.2009 edition);

i) The acceptance test requirements are changed (see Chapter 6, Chapter 7 of the.2009 edition);

j) The content of the winch logo has been changed (see Chapter 7, Chapter 8 of the.2009 edition).

The translation method used in this document is equivalent to ISO 7364.2016 "Ship and Marine Technology Deck Mechanical Gangway Winches".

The Chinese documents that have consistent correspondence with the normatively cited international documents in this document are as follows.

This document has made the following editorial changes.

---The name of the normative reference document is modified according to the latest version of ISO 2408;

--- Deleted the notes in 4.7 to remind the content of other countries' safety factor regulations.

1 Scope

This document specifies requirements for the design and operation, performance, acceptance test and identification of hydraulic, pneumatic, electric and manual ship gangway winches.

This document is applicable to the design and test of gangway winches. This document does not include requirements for winch prime movers.

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions defined by ISO 3828 apply to this document.

3.1

Nominalsize

This document is used to identify a certain type of winch.

Note. The nominal specifications corresponding to the reel load are shown in Table 1.

3.2

Drumload

When the reel is wound with a single layer of steel wire rope, when the winch lifts the unloaded gangway at the nominal speed, or the winch places the gangway in the stowed position

The maximum pulling force of the wire rope at the exit of the reel.

3.3

Support load holdingload

In a stationary state, the maximum pulling force of the steel wire rope that the winch can withstand at the point where the single-layer steel wire rope of the drum is drawn should be no less than 3 times the drum

load.
