Scope

GB/T 12827-2008 is the English-translated version of 标准参比乙炔炭黑及鉴定方法.

GB/T 12827-2008 fixes the standard values for the main physical and chemical properties of standard reference acetylene black, the quality-control requirements for producing it, and the standard methods for testing the uniformity of a batch.

Its summary states that it is used for identifying and assigning values to standard reference acetylene black and can also be used to calibrate test equipment; the values for grade SRAB1 are given in Table 1, and a chapter sets out the significance of the standard.

Its foreword records that the 1991 test item specific resistance in kilohm-centimetres became resistivity in ohm-metres, that the hydrochloric acid absorption value was changed to (4.0 ± 0.3) cm3/g following GB/T 3781.8, and that wrong formulas for the control limits and the standard deviation were corrected.

It replaces GB/T 12827-1991, was issued on 18 June 2008 and has applied since 1 February 2009.

4 Standard reference acetylene black standard value

Foreword

This standard replaces GB/T 12827-1991 "Standard reference acetylene black and identification methods." This standard compared with GB/T 12827-1991 main changes are as follows.

a) increasing the "Preface" and "warning" language;

b) Normative documents using the latest version of the standard number and standard name;

c) increase the "meaning" (Excerpts Chapter 3);

d) Excerpts of the reg number "4 ~ 10" correspond to the 1991 edition of the "3 to 9";

e) The 1991 edition SRABR1 testing program "specific resistance, kohm . cm" was changed to "resistivity, ohm . m", the standard value "0.20 ± 0.03 "was changed to" 2.0 ± 0.3 "(Excerpts of Table 1);

f) according to GB/T 3781.8 the latest version of "hydrochloric acid liquid absorption test method" changes in Table 1 SRABR1 hydrochloric acid aspiration amount standard value By the (4.2 ± 0.3) cm3/g modified to (4.0 ± 0.3) cm3/g (Excerpts of Table 1);

g) 1991 edition of the row and column mean the upper and lower control limits and standard deviation formula is wrong, this edition has been corrected (1991 edition 7.3,7.7, 8.3,8.7 this edition);

h) deleted "that" content (Chapter 9 1991 edition);

i) Remove the 1991 edition of "additional instructions." The standard proposed by China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Association.
