Introduction

Optical and photonic instruments are widely used in various fields of national economy and international science and technology, due to the very complex environmental conditions of their use and transportation.

There are various environmental conditions, such as physical, chemical, biological, climatic and electrical, which will make optical and photonic instruments

The performance of the device has changed and it cannot function properly.

In view of the above reasons, in order to ensure the quality of optical and photonics instrument products, it is necessary to simulate a variety of complex changes in environmental conditions.

It is necessary to conduct tests on optical and photonics instrument products to assess their ability to withstand harsh environmental conditions, so GB/T 12085 includes test conditions,

Conditional tests, test procedures, environmental test markings, etc. At the same time, since there are many environmental conditions and they belong to different types, in order to facilitate the

For the implementation of the standard, GB/T 12085 is to be divided into 15 parts according to the type of environmental conditions.

4 Test conditions

4.1 General

The test shall be carried out under the atmospheric environmental conditions specified in GB/T 12085.1.

The reagents listed in Chapter 5 Conditioning Tests represent different chemical classes.

4.2 Specimen

In addition to the relevant specifications require the entire instrument or component test, the test should use a representative sample as the sample.

The thickness of the sample substrate for the non-metallic coating test shall be greater than 1 mm, and the sample plate shall be made according to the dimensions shown in Figure 1.

The structure of the coating to be tested shall be the same as that used for the instrument or parts of the instrument.

Note. The relevant specifications can also stipulate that the length of the sample plate is 140mm+/-2mm or 280mm+/-2mm.

The surface of the test specimen before coating shall be prepared in the same manner as the surface of the instrument or component represented, and the coating shall completely cover the test specimen.

Such surfaces, especially edges, corners and edges of holes should be covered. Punching should be done before applying the coating. The thickness of the coating should be the same as that of the instrument or component

The thickness of the coating is the same (deviation does not exceed 5µm). The markings, numbers, etc. of the specimen shall be made before applying the coating. The prepared samples should be

Prevent contamination until testing begins.

Except as shown in Figure 1, the test surface of the synthetic material sample shall be as flat as the surface of the represented instrument parts, such as the test surface.

If the test gasket cannot be fully supported (see 4.3), half of the sample should be immersed in the reagent to ensure that the test meets the requirements of the test conditions.

1) Excludes radioactive elements and isotopes and hazardous chemicals such as 2,2-dichlorodiethyl sulfide.
